            I
believed it. My youth in the labyrinth of a
                      cult-like group     is the
title of a new book by Gabriella Rahoy. I read it with
great interest. It is well written and I felt that the
writer has had a strong experience during her life in
                the movement.

Lastweek I found this book online. She talks
about her life in the movement and how she left the
movement after many years in Belgium. After her
experience she also wrote a book about it.

A few days ago I read this book
in Dutch and it made a great impression on me. Monique
is very sincere and straight forward. I can recommend
this book. *****In some ways I see a lot of myself in
Monique. She is not the only one who has felt like
this. I recognize myself in her.

Popesarmada25.blogspot.com/ is a very interesing blog where you can read different opinions about many subjects regarding the focolare movement and Chiara Lubich. For example: "In her later years, the focus on promoting the figure of Chiara Lubich increased markedly. Tremendous efforts were focused on securing secular awards for her, including numerous honorary degrees in subjects as varied as Psychology, Business and Economics, Social Sciences and Art, and promoting her as a heroine of global significance, like Mother Teresa. It was rumoured in the period 1995-2004 that she would only visit centres of the Movement in various parts of the world if you had secured an award for her."
